The photo printing of choiceby: digital_joe

I agree with clicker_slr Snapfish is really the best online photo printing service out there. Too bad I already used my free prints they give for new users but hey with 9c I can afford to print a few more :-) I only had to talk to their customer service once and they were kind and helped promptly. This is my experience after printing hundreds of photos with them.

I can not disagree more with the previous review - Snapfish is by far the best photo printing service out there, I can not say anything bad about them, ok maybe sometimes they are not the cheapest but they prices are still great and I will continue to use them on a regular basis. Every now and then I try to printing with another service just to check, and nobody is better in quality. I am not sure if it is becasue HP is behind them but these guys know how to print ;-)

RECENTLY I ORDERED AND WAS GREATLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE - I PAID EXTRA FOR THE SPEEDY SERVICE - DID NOT GET THE SPEEDY SERVICE & WHEN I REGISTERED A COMPLAINT I WAS NEVER, DID I MENTION - NEVER - CONTACTED - I HAD PLACED SEVERAL ORDERS IN THE PAST BUT STILL WAS NOT GIVEN THE COURTESY OF A REPLY - ALSO - I ORDERED TWO PHOTO ALBUM BOOKS - WHEN THEY WERE RECEIVED THEY WERE NO LARGER THAN A POSTAGE STAMP - I RETURNED THEM TO SNAPFISH WITH A LETTER AND WAS NEVER - DID I SAY - NEVER - CONTACTED BY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE - THEREFORE - I MUST SAY THEIR SERVICE WAS HORRABLE.

I've used Snapfish for yearsby: PM97303

I've used Snapfish for years as a family on-line album to share with others - as a printing service where I could send pictures to other addresses, and even for making a photo book which was lots of fun! I've been pleased with the quality of the pictures each time. I would like to see better editing features as now I need to edit pictures before downloading to Snapfish. They advertise 8-9 cents a picture... but they are VERY desceptive on this. They add a HIGH postage/handling which pops that price to almost double. I've written them on this. I have recommended Snapfish to several people.

I've ordered from Snapfish several times, prints and also a couple of calendars. Each time the quality and service has been excellent. They gave me an estimated delivery date on the calendars which was nice because one was a Christmas gift. I've never had any problems so I've never had to deal with their Customer Service, I definitely would use them again.

Better print quality than all I\'ve compared toby: boohoo

I\'ve sent the same files to Shutterfly, Adorama, Meijer, and Walgreens. Snapfish blew them all away in color, sharpness and contrast. My son thinks Snapfish is a bit too saturated, but that\'s the way I like it. I did notice that I have to brighten up my shots by about 2/3 of a stop for optimal brightness. I\'m not thrilled that their upload tool automatically reduces the size of the file to about 6MB. The tool also works best with IE (won\'t work with Netscape 8 and I haven\'t tried it with Firefox.) However, I\'ve been more than happy with their delivery and service.

some people have had issues with the coloring...I have not. The prints weren\'t great but they weren\'t bad. They arrived in a timely fashion as well...I\'d order from here again.

We received our pictures quickly and the site was easy to use. However, the color of the photos wasn't that good. Skin tones weren't accurate -- on the pinkish side. Comparing the same pictures ordered from Snapfish and from another site, the pictures from Snapfish weren't as sharp, and like I said before, the color wasn't as good.

Nice prints, Horrible Customer Serviceby: Ladybuglee

I have been trying to place an order with Snapfish. I have over 900 photos in my shopping cart and 1100 prepaid prints. It takes over 5 mins. to scroll to the bottom of my cart. The only way to place an order is to click on the yellow check out button which is at the bottom of the shopping cart page. I really think they should have a check out button at the TOP and the bottom of each shopping cart page. When I finally get to the bottom of my shopping cart page and click on the button, it takes another 2-3 mins. to THINK, and then it sends me back to the top of the page. This has been going on daily now for over a month. I have tried placing the order on several computers, and the response is identical~ so I know it's not my computer's fault. I have emailed customer service about this, and they keep telling me that it's a temporary problem with the site. I have assured them that it does not seem temporary, but ongoing since I've been at it now for so many days. I've asked on several occasions for someone on their end to just go into my account and place the order for me since I already have so many prepaid photos. No such luck! I've also asked to have my money refunded on my prepaid prints since I can't place any orders anyway. No response. I'm not sure what the next plan of action will be. Perhaps I'll need to contact my credit card company that I paid for the order with. Also, they have a good price on photos, but really after you pay their ridiculous shipping fees it raises the price of each individual print. You're better off just going to Target or Walgreens where you can deal with real live people.

Price is right, quality is wrong!by: USAUA

My husband found this site to get all our wedding pics printed off. The price was what we were happy about. They even let you get the first 20 pics for free! So, we picked our first 20 and waited in the mail. Boy, were we disappointed! The outside pics were just okay, but the inside pics were horrible! the coloring was WAY off!! Our faces were bright RED! I'm just glad we didn't spend any money there!

My wife prefers prints to just sharing them on the screen - who knows why... she's less into computers than I am, so, every time for the holidays we have to print a bunch of things for her family and mine. I saw Snapfish ads all over the place, asked a couple of friends - everyone said they are the most stellar - so, ok, I ordered my pritns there for Thanksgiving. It was 450 altogether (because we were making copies for all) and the quality of prints was Ok, almost no complaints there - there were two that were cut wrong, but maybe it was my fault. What I hated was that there was NO service - nowhere to call, a few questions I had was with their pricing - they have a really complex way of estimating them and, if not for my wife, I would have not even placed the order. So, this Christmas, I am not using them. But still - on the positive side: the site is simple, the graphics is nice and the quality of prints was ok.

I did a side by side comparison of Snapfish to oFoto- the same images and the same sizes. The results were not even close. Snapfish had incredible color saturation and detail. The color balance was perfect and the shadows were excellent. oFoto was drap and the colors were off, the image was printed with more croping and the paper quality was less. I am an experienced and trained photo printer and there really was no comparison. Snapfish won hands down.

I tried snapfish after my friend told me about their prices. I figured how bad can it be right? wrong! my photos look bad the quality is not good not good at all. the photos cut was not straight I emailed customer service asking for a fix and a better print it took them a few days to response. they said they could not do that. so I had to ask for my money back and after a few more days they replied and refunded my money - at least that.
