Overall, a good buy for those looking for a small trash can with a lid. Got it to keep dogs out of trash. They like to steal the kleenex for some reason and then the don't feel well or it is strewn about the house in shreds. This works perfectly so we do not need to keep the doors in the bathroom or our daughter's bedroom closed all the time. was looking for a little plastic pedal trash can for in the basement to use next to litter box for scooping. Couldn't find one in the stores, so I looked on Amazon. Found this one and I was not thrilled with paying $14.95, but I was purchasing other items and this qualified for free shipping, so I jumped on it. Received it yesterday and it really is high quality construction. Much nicer than I expected and I'm very pleased with the item. I believe that I will purchase more products from this company in the future just because I was so impressed with the quality. Money well spent That's what I use it for. Only the lid won't stay-up. I use a rubber door stop to wedge the lever during dinner prep.
