| To sum up, I sent them this email:
"Hello, I've been a satisfied customer ever since
you've been ofoto (different accounts), and haven't
had any problems. But the last order I was
disappointed because about 50 4x6 prints and a couple
of 8x11's were shipped in a thin 8x11 fedex envelope
without reinforcement. And the bulk of the 4x6 prints
bent my 8x11's. Would you be able to insert some sort
of cardboard reinforcement if all those prints are
going to be shipped in that type of envelope. I've
had no problems with just 4x6's being shipped in that
manner because they haven't come bent. But the 8x11's
came bent and I wish I had perfect 8x11's to give to
my fiance. I'd be happy to pay a little more to have
my 8x11's shipped in a sturdier box especially if
there's a stack of 4x6's included. Please let me know
because I have some prints for Christmas I would like
to print for my fiance and I. Thank you."
I would like to think that they're not trying to be
cheap in their means of delivery...but stuffing
everything and just throwing in the 8x11's to get bent
is unacceptable. |

| All of my recent purchases from Ofoto have been
Horrible. Side by side comparisons to Photomax Prints
really show the difference. I would stay away and give
Photomax a shot

| Try KPT on/off | by: seanomalone |

|
| Ofoto has an automatic print enhancement setting that
is turned on by default, called KPT under \"Advanced
Print Options\" in the \"My Account\" section. It
doesn\'t show on-screen, only on print output... though
you can click \"Print Preview to get a sneak peek
before printing.
It works well for many shots but isn\'t always what
you\'re looking for. I leave it off when I print and
the results much are better in my view. |

| I agree I had a bad experience with colors from ogoto -
not going to use them for a long time or until someone
says otherwise |

|
| The color of the prints I received from oFoto were
terrible. I did a side by side comparison to Snapfish
with the same images and the same sizes. oFoto's
prints were drab, over cropped and the paper was light
weight. I am an experienced photo printer with many
years of professional color printing and the results
werent even close. Go with Snapfish - you will be happy
with the quality. |

| I tried to order from them.. but the amateurish website
turned me off.
The batch upload is nice.. it is one of the fastest but
once u get your photos up there the ordering is a
nightmare.. all my photos were displayed without any
image names? which genius designed this? how am i
supposed to remember the quantities and sizes which i
have to order if the filenames won't appear? it's no
use to me! I even tried to put captions on the images
but that doesn't appear either!
There is no place to select a glossy or matte finish..
i tried uptil where it asks for the credit card and is
ready to place the order? again.. who slept on the
job?
I was trying with IE so it couldn't have been browser
incompatibility.. there upload doesn't work with my
FireFox, but most batch uploads don't so no biggy.
I think this website is great for moms 'n dads who
always order two prints of 4x6 for every file they
upload and are done with it. if you have to sit and
choose and specially if the images aren't of your own
family but clients.. it's a nightmare.. i'll stick with
Mpix for now. |

|
| the prints I get from them are good the colors are soft
and nice. they apply some picture processing before
printing which makes the picture look better no
pixelization at all almost like from film. The service
is great I get the pictures I print very fast and once
I needed them to refund a print which was bad (at my
fault too) and they did it no questions asked.

| framed photo - fast shipment but poor frame... | by: digital_joe |

|
| I order a framed picture from ofoto. My original
picture was taken with a 3MP Canon camera. I order a
5X7 framed picture. The quality of the print is very
good. This is not my problem. The frame itself looks ok
although it looked better on the picture on their web
site. The real problem is that it really looks like a
very cheap frame - for once it does not stand very well
the folding \"leg\" does not open enough and I really
feel like this picture can fall at any time. I expected
more from the twenty some dollars are paid for this
experience.
Shipping on the other hand was superb I opted for the
standard shipping and it arrived in like 3 days in a
nice carton package (by the way through DHL and not
USPS). |

| ofoto has been around for a long time so we all owe
them some respect for leading the way I guess. Anyway -
my experience with them is ok - nothing more nothing
less I think I will now start printing with the new
guys in town and see how they are doing I am sure they
will have better service and faster shipping. |
