Made well and easy to clean. Greetings, This is nice solid can. You can use small bags in the store in it. It's big enough to hold the waste from the bathroom and that's about it. It won't hold my mouth wash bottle but that should be recycled anyway. The lid is nice and strong. Just take note, when the reviewers say for bits like onion, strawberry tops it is just that. Not much else is going to fit in there so do not anticipate that you are prepping for a major meal and all sorts of things will fit in. What I like from my day 1 use is that I use this for allt he things which I can toss immediatley into my compost. Of course the super cool look, and the fact that you cannot tell what it is for if you see it sitting on the counter is also a plus. Seriously, I felt silly buying this, like why make a tiny trashcan on your counter when there is a big trashcan on the floor four feet away? But... I put the thin 'produce' plastic bags in this and toss all my veggie cuttings and eggshells and stuff in here and then toss the bag when it gets full or after a few days. It keeps my minimal counter space cleaner while I'm working in there for sure. Perhaps it's not a necessity in life, ok, but I actually like it pretty well. i had hoped to use this as a sleek countertop garbage can, since i don't have a disposal. it's a little small for that purpose, but looks nice anyway, and is convenient for those constant little bits of trash (bread twist ties, straw wrappers, etc, etc.
