Yes the pictures are sharp, but very difficult to download photos into frame Would not reccomend. Frames look great. Comes with a black and simulated wood outer frame. I bought 2 of these frames. One has 3 dead pixels so I returned it. The replacement had 1 dead pixel. One of my USB drives froze all 3 frames up completely. An SD card and a second USB worked fine. The remote worked fine. The instructions were not clear on how to move files from the inserted media to the internal memory. The pictures were great except for the bad pixels. You cannot shuffle the pics. I figured out how copy the pics from the media to the onboard memory but every time I tried it showed the same error. All 3 frames were the same no matter what size or type of pic I moved. The only way to get pics to the frame was by plugging it into a computer via USB and using drag-n-drop. Which worked fine. Ended up returning all 3 and buying something else at Costco that I am much happier with. This product is pretty nice. It's in a decent frame and the picture is clear. Beware! The description claims to be Bluetooth compatible. You have to buy an add-on to get Bluetooth compatibility. The picture is clear and the unit was delivered as promised (even a day early). I'd buy another. It's a great value for the price. I wanted a large enough display for her eyes to see... and I got it. I wanted to cram 90 years of memories into it as a self contained unit, and that was a little tougher. DIsk partitions for all the bells and whistles cut down the useable space for photos to significantly less than I expected. And because I have a MAC, I had to contact them to download software to enable me to work with picture size. AT the end of the day, the unit actually has more capabilities than I wanted. And I spent far, far too much time working with it to maximize what I wanted to do. But it gave me a large viewing area and the ability to make it work well enough just by keeping the remote at home. It's on/off and enjoy, Mom. This was supposed to be compatible with my Mac computer, well things didn't work out that way and when I tried to get some help, no phone number, no product support, sent it back for a refund. Was very pleased with Amazon in their fast return of my money.
