Petz Dogz 2 |
| Product DescriptionThis is the second game in the Petz Dogz series. Adopt a puppy to care for and make them cuter with clothing and accessories. Create a comfortable pet village and guide your pup through adventures. Teach your puppy tricks and watch as he obeys your commands. Compete against your friends in mini-games.ReviewsIt appears that the publisher made a money-saving/making choice to put this project into production for multiple languages and decided to hire an English TEXT writer and tranlator instead of good voice-over talent.
What could have been a fun game for kids ends up being a poorly produced string of really bad text.
Welcome back to the days of silent movies folks! You have to read everything while watching characters sway their heads back and forth.
Boring!
If you have a kindergartener who wants to play this game expect to have to sit there and read the dialogue for every scene to him/her.
Save your money, visit the library and take out a few good books.
Sure you'll still be reading and spending time with your kid(s) but it'll be worth it.
This one is a coaster.
My three daughters wanted to adopt a pet and take care of them. I thought this game fit, but it is very misleading. You adopt and pet, but the way you take care of them is keeping them from the evil wolf. Scary! No thanks. This one is finding it's way to the garage sale box.
I purchased Wii Petz Dogz 2 for my 5 year old daughter to play. Unfortunately, you have to be able to read fluently to be able to understand what is going on in the game. There do not seem to be any voice-overs where there easily could have been. For young kids try a game like "Cookin' Mama" where insructions are graphically driven.
I thought this game would be perfect for my 5 & 7 year old girls, who both love dogs. On the cover it looks and sounds great. What a disappointment! You have to be able to read to play the game. Controlling the game also wasn't thought out at all, and is difficult for my 5 year old. Poor design, poorly programmed. Don't waste your money.
My 9 year daughter old played this gane over and over, when she finished it she just started again.
