Product Description For finding your way around the starry sky, there's no better tool than a star wheel, or "planisphere." Whether you're skywatching with just your eyes, with binoculars or with a telescope, it's essential for learning constellations, identifying bright stars, and planning observing sessions. Our Star Target features a detailed star map drafted by celestial cartographer Wil Tirion. It shows all constellations visible from mid-northern latitudes (30-degree to 50-degree) and the locations of 100 showpiece star clusters, nebulas, and galaxies for viewing with binoculars or a telescope. You just dial in the date and time, and- voila!- Star Target displays a current map of the night sky. On the back are simple instructions plus viewing tips and a calendar of annual meteor showers.
