Just something to protect the Nikon camera I bought with it. But be ready to carry it in something else or just pick it up and go. No pockets for spare batteries or any other accessories. What good is a camera case with no strap and no belt loop. I nearly lost it when I took the camera out and had to use one hand to hold the stupid case while I shot with the other. Nikon should be ashamed to put its name on this one. Further, it has no room for extra batteries or any items (other than very very small ones). I'm off to BestBuy to get a decent case. I like this case for my Coolpix L100 but it really needs a shoulder strap for carrying around while walking around. However, it's great for protecting my camera and accessories. It's a simple, compact case. It holds my L100 with room for an extra SD card, spare batteries and a camera strap inside. The inner material is soft, silver-grey and emblazoned with Nikon's logo. The outside is a tougher, black material that's so far pretty durable. The case has two small outer side pockets and a larger, mesh pocket inside the lid. In the photo shown, the back of the case is visible. It actually opens on the other side. It's Velcro; no zippers. I have to say I'm pretty happy with the case. The L100 is a point and shoot built like a SLR. It's too bulky for those slim, compact camera cases but I don't need all the extra room of a larger camera bag. This case provides a perfect balance. It's just big enough for my camera but still smaller and lighter than a big camera bag. I love it.
