I'm a new Nikon user and find this camera easy to operate. The picture quality has fantastic detail, and the price for the kit is affordable.
Only had a week, but everything seems OK. Only reason I didn't give a higher rating is that the camera is made in Thailand, not Japan. I lived in Thailand for five years and don't think much of their quality control, but I'm sure a company like Nikon has a handle on that.
