This digital video camera uses the Megabrid engine to maintain a high signal-to-noise ratio for video, which allows for a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 for HG digital stills. The GR-D650 can connect directly to your computer via Firewire, at which point it can be used like a web camera for video conferencing or remote monitoring applications, and ImageMixer software that is bundled in lets you easily upload clips to your PC and e-mail them as MPEG-4 files.
