Amazon.com Product Description

The state-of-the-art Barska Point 'n' View integrates a high-quality roof prism binocular with a 5-megapixel digital camera, giving you a terrific accessory for nature outings, sporting events, and tropical vacations. Each Point 'n' View model is packed with features that allow you to see, save, and share your special moments with friends and family. The 8x32mm Point 'n' View is easy to use: simply look through the binoculars at your subject, and then record the scene with the shutter button. Once you've taken the photo, you can download it to your PC, edit it with the included software, and print it or e-mail it to friends. You can even record video. However, you can also use the Point 'n' View as a traditional binocular while bird watching or just checking out the scenery. It's an ideal choice for people who want the function of two separate gadgets but want to carry only one at a time.

The Point 'n' View also includes a 1.5-inch TFT color screen for viewing camera images, along with a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot for storing the photos. And thanks to the multicoated optics, you can rest assured that the images will look crisp and clear. Other details include a menu/control panel, a compact design that fits easily in a backpack or bag, an automatic CMOS image sensor that makes the optimal changes in different light conditions, a USB cable, and a handy carrying case.

The Point 'n' View includes a 1.5-inch LCD display and a handy menu/control panel.

Tech Talk
Objective Lens: The diameter of the objective or front lens. The larger the objective lens, the more light that enters the binocular, and the brighter the image.

Field of View (F.O.V.): The side-to-side measurement of the circular viewing field or subject area. It is defined by the width in feet or meters of the area visible at 1000 yards or meters. A wide angle binocular features a wide field of view and is better for following action. Generally, the higher the magnification, the narrower the field of view.

Roof Prism System: In roof prism binoculars the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. The result is a slim, stream-lined shape in which the lenses and prisms are in a straight line.
