Reviews I have this in passion fruit. I like it, but I agree with previous reviewers in that it does not go on that smooth, it is somewhat dry. But, the color I have lasts a LONG time! And it makes the application worth it. I would have given it 5 stars if it was just not quite so dry, but it's still a good lipstick. I am disappointed with this lipstick. The color is nothing like what is shown on the screen (I have rose crepe), it feels drying, it comes off on everything and is totally gone within an hour. And I've never needed lip liner before but with how much this lipstick feathers, it is required now. This is sad because I like several other Bare Escentuals products. I own this lipstick in Italian Ice and really love the color. However, this lipstick is difficult to apply. It goes on very dry - not creamy and smooth at all. Once on, it stays in place and the color stays true for a long time, but it is so dry that my lips start to chap by midday. So I've started using a clear gloss over the top just to add a bit of shine and moisture. I'm not sure I'd buy this product again, given the price. I have much less expensive lipsticks from drugstore brands that I like much better and that don't dry my lips. I use this make up all the time, it's very light. I hated liquid and creamy foundations, so most of the time I went without makeup. This doesn't cover my blemishes very well but at least I wear it, which in of it self helps. i'm sure the product may be good. i do use all bare minerals makeup, but i purchased the lipstick AND lipliner online, and when I recieved them, they looked NOTHING like what it did as advertised. The color, butter pecan, which looks like a light color on the computer,is actually dark brown like a chocolate color! And their natural shade of lipliner is like a horrible pink, nothing natural looking at all. I'm so sorry I wasted my money as it will probably just go in the trash.
